TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
